IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE: WringWorm AI is an educational and informational tool only. It is not a medical device, has not been cleared or approved by the FDA, is not a licensed healthcare provider, does not provide a medical diagnosis, and does not create a doctor-patient relationship. AI-generated results may be incomplete or incorrect, including false positives and false negatives. Always consult a licensed physician, dermatologist, athletic trainer, or other qualified healthcare professional about any skin condition. If you think you may have a medical emergency—including a rapidly spreading rash, fever with skin symptoms, severe pain, or signs of a serious infection—call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something the App showed you.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Inspired Edge LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects information when you use the WringWorm AI mobile application (the "App"). WringWorm AI is a personal wellness tool for individual wrestlers aged 18 and older to run preliminary, AI-assisted photo checks of their own skin and keep a personal record of those checks. It is not intended for coaches, trainers, schools, or teams to screen athletes or other people.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Before running a scan, the App also requires you to accept a separate User Waiver & Consent that includes your express consent to AI photo processing. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. This policy may be updated from time to time; the "Last Updated" date indicates the most recent revision.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

To run AI analysis, you must create an account. We collect and store:

  • Email address and an account password (your password is stored in secured form by our authentication provider; we do not have access to your raw password)
  • A unique account identifier used to associate your scans and settings with your account

1.2 Photos You Capture or Upload

When you run a scan, you capture or select a photo of a skin area on your own body only. The App is for personal self-screening — you must not upload photos of other people, including athletes, students, teammates, or minors. By tapping Run Analysis or completing the onboarding scan flow, you expressly consent to the transmission and processing described below and represent that you are 18 or older and the sole subject of the photo. To analyze that photo:

  • The image is transmitted securely from your device to our cloud servers and then to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider for analysis
  • We do not store your photos in the cloud. The image is processed only to generate a result and is not retained by us afterward
  • Your original photos remain stored locally on your device unless you delete them
  • We do not control and are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party AI or cloud providers

1.3 Scan Analysis Results

The text results of a scan are stored both on your device and in our secure cloud storage, linked to your account. These results include:

  • The body area you selected
  • The possible condition identified, a confidence value, and a severity label (low / moderate / high)
  • A text summary, recommendations, a "seek medical attention" flag, and timestamps

1.4 Fighter Profile

During onboarding and in your profile settings, you provide a fighter profile with information such as name, age, gender, weight class, and team or club name. This profile is stored locally on your device. When you request personalized "Playbook" advice, the profile text and your recent scan results are sent to our AI provider to generate guidance. Profile photos are never required, and no images are sent for Playbook advice.

1.5 Usage and Rate-Limiting Data

To operate the service and prevent abuse, we store counters and timestamps of how many scans and advice requests your account makes. This data is tied to your account identifier and does not include your photos.

1.6 Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, transactions are processed by Apple. Our paywall provider and Apple may collect purchase, conversion, and device-level information to operate billing and subscriptions. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

1.7 Waiver Acceptance Records

When you accept the in-app User Waiver & Consent, the App stores a record on your device that you accepted, including a timestamp. If you are signed in, we also store an acceptance record on our servers linked to your account, including a server timestamp, the waiver version you accepted, and basic app and device context (such as app version and platform). These records are used to confirm that you may use the scan feature and to maintain a legal audit trail of your consent. They do not include your photos.

You must sign in to your account and accept the User Waiver & Consent before you can access the App's main features, including AI photo scanning, Playbook guidance, and cloud-backed scan history. Without both, the App limits you to onboarding and account setup only.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide AI analysis: processing photos to generate preliminary, educational skin-check results
  • To generate Playbook guidance: using your profile and recent scan history to provide personalized educational advice
  • To maintain your account and history: authenticating you and storing your scan results so they are available across sessions
  • To operate, secure, and improve the App: including rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and reliability
  • To process subscriptions and comply with law

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to deliver the App. These providers process data on our behalf, and your information is subject to their privacy practices:

  • A third-party artificial-intelligence provider: analyzes the photos and the profile/scan text you submit in order to generate scan results and Playbook guidance
  • Cloud hosting and storage providers: enable account sign-in and securely store your account information and scan results
  • Paywall and subscription services: presentation and management of subscription paywalls and related purchase or conversion data
  • Apple: app distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription billing

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers. We do not control how third-party platforms independently process data under their own terms.

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data, scan-result text, and usage data are stored with our third-party cloud hosting and storage providers. Data transmitted between the App and our providers is encrypted in transit. Your local data (photos, scan history, and fighter profile) is stored on your device and protected by your device's operating-system protections.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Photos: not retained by us; stored only on your device as part of your local scan history
  • Scan results & account data: retained locally and in our cloud database while your account remains active
  • Local data: remains on your device until you uninstall the App or erase the App's data through your device settings (uninstalling may not remove data restored from a device backup)

The App does not currently provide an in-app control to delete individual photos or scan records. To request deletion of your account or associated cloud data, contact us at the email in Section 11.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Under normal use, we share information only with the service providers described in Section 3, who process it on our behalf to operate the App.

Exceptions only: In rare cases, we may share information when required by law or legal process, or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public. This is separate from our everyday sharing with service providers and does not mean we sell your data.

7. Age, Eligibility, and Personal Use Only

The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and who use it to scan only their own body. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The App's onboarding flow enforces the age requirement before you can complete setup or run scans.

The App is not for coaches, trainers, parents, schools, or teams to screen, photograph, or evaluate other people — including athletes or minors. Do not upload images of anyone other than yourself. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, or that someone has uploaded another person's image, contact us and we will take steps to delete associated account data.

8. Health Information and HIPAA

WringWorm AI is a consumer wellness and educational tool. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or covered entity, and the App is not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Use of the App does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Information you submit is not "protected health information" under HIPAA and is handled solely under this Privacy Policy.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11.

9.2 European Economic Area / UK (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing are your consent and the performance of our contract with you (providing the App). The Data Controller is Inspired Edge LLC.

10. International Users

The App is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in those locations.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and revise the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
